Our Directors
Lucy and Jane are leading diabetes nurse practitioners of Sydney and New South Wales. They have completed extensive training in diabetes so that they can provide you with comprehensive care just like a general practitioner or endocrinologist would. They can refer you to other health care professionals, order diagnostic tests and pathology, and prescribe diabetes and related medications if required. They also understand what it is like to live with diabetes, and they pride themselves on providing innovative and flexible health care services that complement your other health care providers.
Together they have been helping people manage their diabetes for close to 40 years. During this time, they have been encouraging people to eat to appetite and helping them learn how to adjust their treatment around their life. They were also early adopters of insulin pump therapy and other technologies, such as continuous glucose monitoring, tools that help people with diabetes live their lives to the full.
Lucy and Jane’s extensive diabetes knowledge means they can help you get your diabetes back on track when things don’t seem to be going your way or you may choose to see them for your regular diabetes review. You can also make an appointment if you are keen to explore different treatment options.

Lucy was the senior diabetes nurse at Sydney Children’s Hospital from 2005 – 2017. She has extensive experience in helping children and their families manage type 1 diabetes.
